P is for….

Poser noun [poh-sir] Any one who does not follow his/her own ideas of what he/she likes. Following no one set norm makes you real and following no one set norm makes you poser. Poser is governed not by the clothes, music, or makeup you wear, but rather by the state of your mind and the conformity to your own beliefs.

Professional Student noun [pruh-fesh-uh-nl stood-nt] Person who receives multiple degrees and keeps taking courses instead of holding a profession related to the degrees earned. Can be a compliment or an insult depending on the speaker.

Pirate Bath idiom [pahy-ruht bat-h] The process of washing just the arm pit area and the private area with a wash cloth or handful of water. People will ask you to define a pirate bath, the easy definition is “pits and privates”

Putting lipstick on a pig idiom [put-ing lip-stik on a pig] A term used by many, generally in reference to someone who may be trying to make something or someone look appealing or attractive when it quite clearly will not work, or will only deceive the dumbest of people. Car salesmen are generally good at “putting lipstick on a pig” because they are always selling unroadworthy buckets of shit and try and hide their shitfulness by tarting them up.

Post-party depression noun [poh-st par-tee dih-presh-uhn] Feeling letdown, gloomy, or sometimes even lonely the day (or days) following a party or other enjoyable social event.

Programmers tan noun [proh-gram-ers tan] The pasty white tan of a person who works over eighty hours a week and never gets any sun.

People Voice noun [pee-puhl vois] A people voice is the voice that someone uses when talking to people who aren’t their friends. This voice is automatically happy, nicer and sweeter than their normal voice. It is also often more high pitched. This is often the voice people use when answering a telephone or when working in retail. Similiar to the girlfriend voice.
